    To help serve you better, below are a few commonly asked questions from changing room reservations
    to how to purchase gift certificates.

  • Airport Directions:
    I'm renting a car at the airport. How do I get to The Mirage from the airport?
  • Exit the airport on Swenson. Turn left at Tropicana Avenue. Go about 1 1/2 miles until you reach Las Vegas Blvd. Turn right on Las Vegas Blvd. and go about a mile. The Mirage is on the left side of the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.). You should anticipate 15-30 minutes travel time, depending on traffic.


  • Freeway Directions:
  • Follow the signs to I-215 West. Proceed on I-215 West for approximately two miles to I-15 North. You'll travel approximately four miles on I-15 North, then exit at Spring Mountain Road East. There are two lanes for Spring Mountain; be sure to stay in the left lane to go east. As you come up the overpass, stay to the right as you will make an immediate right-hand turn into our property. Simply follow the signs to the Mirage North Valet entrance. You may have Valet park your vehicle (complimentary valet service), or you may park in our self-park garage.

  • Airport Transportation:
    Is there shuttle service to The Mirage?
  • Several companies offer shuttle service to and from McCarran International Airport (approximately $7.00 per person). Signs are posted on the transportation level at the airport outside baggage claim which will direct you to the shuttle area. Return shuttles run from the airport to The Mirage from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. every 10-15 minutes. Reservations are recommended for airport returns. The Concierge can assist you with a reservation upon request.

  • Shuttles:
    What transportation is available from your location on The Strip?
  • The Mirage does not have its own shuttles to and from McCarran International Airport. Airport shuttles are provided by outside companies for approximately $7.00 per person. Signs are posted on the transportation level at the airport outside baggage claim which will direct you to the shuttle area. Shuttles run from The Mirage to the airport from 4:15 a.m. to 12:15 a.m. every 15 and 45 minutes after the hour. The Concierge will make a shuttle reservation for you upon request.

    Other transportation options include taxis, limousine service, the City Bus, and the various connecting trams and walkways between Strip resorts. There is an Avis Rent A Car desk located in our hotel lobby for your convenience in renting a vehicle during your stay. You may contact Avis Rent A Car at 702.791.7425. Our Concierge will be happy to assist you with any of your transportation needs.

  • Amenities, Guestroom:
    Do your guestrooms have irons, ironing boards, hairdryers, refrigerators and coffee makers?
  • Hairdryers, irons, ironing boards, standard toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and lotion), alarm clocks, and room safes are provided in all of our guest- rooms. We do not provide coffee makers or microwave ovens. Refrigerators and cribs are available upon request for a nominal daily fee.

  • Anniversary / Honeymoon Packages and Vacation Packages:
    Do you offer special packages for anniversaries or honeymoons?
  • While we do not offer specific packages for anniversaries or honeymoons, our Room Reservations staff can assist you with selecting accommodations suitable for your special occasion. We have several suite types available, which are very popular for special celebrations.

  • Best Rate Guarantee Claim Information:
    How do I submit a Best Rate Guarantee claim?
  • Always book direct at Mirage.com for our lowest online rates. We promise that if you find a lower published rate on one of our rooms, we will not only match that rate, we will also give you an additional 10% off the lower rate. Click here for instructions on submitting a claim

  • Cabanas:
    Can I reserve a cabana at the pool?
  • Due to limited availability, there may be a waiting list for the Bare pool and the Mirage pool. Hotel guests may have their name placed on the waiting list up to six weeks in advance by calling 800.456.4564 ext. 7416 or The Concierge Desk at 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416

  • Cake:
    Can I order a cake for a special occasion and have it delivered to our table while dining at one of your restaurants?

    We would be happy to provide you with information about ordering a cake or dessert for a special occasion. Please call 800.456.4564 ext. 7371
    or 702.791.7111 ext. 7371 and the Food and Beverage Executive Assistant will be happy to assist you. A major credit card is required for all cake purchases.

  • Check Cashing:
    Can I cash a personal check at The Mirage to avoid carrying a large amount of cash?
  • Mirage guests providing proper identification (major credit card and valid driver's license) can cash personal checks at our Casino Cage via Certegy which provides approval on the amount to be cashed per guest. For more information about check cashing, ATM and cash machines, or placing money on deposit with our casino, please call our Casino Cage at 800.456.4564 ext. 7272 or ext. 7272.

  • Check-In and Checkout:
    What time is Check-in and Checkout?
  • Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. and the Front Desk begins courtesy Check-ins at 11:00 a.m. if rooms are available. You may guarantee an early check-in of 10:00 a.m. (for Deluxe rooms only) for an additional $30. In order to reserve this, select the box in the online booking process or contact our Room Reservations department at 1-800-374-9000. If you arrive prior to 3:00 p.m., you may check with the Front Desk for room availability. Should early check-in for your reservation be unavailable, our Bell Desk can store your luggage at no charge until your room is ready.

    Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. If your travel plans necessitate a later Checkout, please contact the Front Desk to check to see if a 12:00 p.m. late Checkout is available, either the evening prior to your departure or the morning of your departure. You may guarantee a 3:00 p.m. late Checkout (for Deluxe rooms only) for $30 by selecting the box in the online booking process or by contacting our Room Reservations department. Please note that 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. late Checkouts may be available at an additional fee for in-house guests. Should later Checkout not be available, our Bell Desk will be happy to hold your luggage for you until you are ready to depart.

    How can I Checkout?

    In Room Video Checkout
    Video Checkout is available between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

    • Press the blue Menu button on the remote.
    • Select the "Checkout" option and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Mobile Checkout
    For your convenience, Express Checkout is available via your mobile device by texting CHECKOUT to 30332.
    To have a copy of your room charges emailed to you within 24 hours, please include your email in the Checkout form. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Children:
    Do you provide daycare or have children's activities?
  • Childcare services and organized children's activities are not offered at The Mirage. For listings of local child care providers, please refer to the
    Las Vegas Yellow Pages under "Baby Sitters," or visit these web-sites: www.VisitLasVegas.com, www.LasVegasKids.net, and www.nahusa.com.

    Nanny's and Housekeepers U.S.A. is a licensed, bonded and insured childcare company. Services that are provided include:

    • Bi-lingual Nannies
    • Available 24 hours a day
    • A flat rate of $45.00 per hour with a four hour minimum, up to 3 children.
      (Holiday rates vary and are subject to change)
    • All major credit cards are accepted and required to reserve a Nanny.
    • Nannies are at least 18 years old and have had a minimum of one year experience, verifiable references, criminal background checks, drug screenings, and are CPR and First Aid certified.

    Are there cribs available for hotel guests?

    Cribs are available upon request for a fee of $30.00 per day. If you would like a crib in your room during your stay please inform the Front Desk upon Check-In or call Housekeeping from your room. Pricing is subject to change.

  • Comps:
    How can I get comps, funbooks and coupons at The Mirage?
  • "Comps" are offered to rated table games players and slot players based on their previous play at The Mirage or the other MGM Resorts International properties that make up our M life. Play is tracked on your M life. For more information please contact our Casino Marketing Department at 800.777.6533 or 702.791.7111 ext. 7222. You can also receive special hotel e-mail offers throughout the year by signing the Guestbook on our website. Visit our "Promotions" page to see additional rate specials posted two to three months in advance. We do not otherwise offer funbooks or free coupons at
    The Mirage.

  • Corkage Fees:
    Are there corkage fees at the Mirage's dining venues, and if so, how much are they?
  • Fine Dining – $35 (FIN, Japonais, Portofino, Tom Colicchio’s Heritage Steak)

    Casual Dining – $25 (California Pizza Kitchen, Carnegie Deli, Cravings Buffet, Paradise Café, Samba Brazilian Steakhouse)

  • Discounts:
    Do you offer military, senior citizen or industry-related discounts?
  • A military discount is available by presenting a valid Military ID at check-in and/or requesting the discount during the reservation process.

  • Dolphin Yoga:
    What is Dolphin Yoga?
  • Start your day in peace and relaxation with a 1-hour morning session of stretching, breathing and dolphin pose. Find balance and serenity as you practice yoga with the dolphins in the underwater viewing area. Check in at the spa to be able to secure your locker, and be sure to enjoy the day spa facility and smoothie included in your Dolphin Yoga session!

  • Donations:
    Can I request a donation from The Mirage?
  • The social investments made by MGM Resorts are dedicated to strengthening the communities where our employees live, work and care for their families. For this reason our charitable contributions are focused in Nevada, Mississippi and Detroit, Michigan and our giving areas focus on development of at-risk youth, public education, community development and diversity.   • Dress Code:
    What is the dress code for your shows and gourmet restaurants?
  • Although you will see Las Vegas visitors in a wide array of attire, the atmosphere in our showrooms and gourmet restaurants calls for a more sophisticated style of dress. While jackets and ties are not required, we suggest casual evening attire for our guests. Tank tops, cut-off shorts, and athletic shoes are not appropriate.

  • Event planning for small groups:

  • Electric Car Charging Station:
    Am I able to charge my electric vehicle while staying at The Mirage?
  • As part of The Mirage's ongoing sustainability efforts, we offer a complimentary EV System for electric vehicles, located in our parking garage. This station provides dual ports and can charge two electric vehicles at the same time. Please visit the North Valet desk to request assistance with charging your vehicle.

  • Fitness Center / Gym:
    Do you have a gym, and is there a charge to use it?
  • All hotel guests have the opportunity to utilize the Fitness Center located at The Mirage Spa by presenting their room key upon entry, as an inclusion of the daily resort fee. It is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (hours are subject to change). The Spa Fitness Center features state-of-the-art Cybex weight and cardio equipment and Personal Training, as well as a unique Yoga With Dolphins experiences. Guests of the The Mirage Spa and fitness facility must be at least 18 years of age. * Click here for more info on the facility.
    *Use of the locker room & wet area are not included with the daily resort fee.

  • Flowers / Gifts:
    How can I order a special amenity for a hotel guest?
  • Floral arrangements, balloon bouquets and a variety of special gift baskets can be delivered directly to a guest's room by calling our Concierge. Please contact the Concierge Desk at 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416 for special food and beverage amenities, such as champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. The Concierge can also assist with floral arrangements and balloons.

  • Gift Cards:
    How can I purchase a gift card(s) for The Mirage, and where can they be used?
  • The Mirage Gift Cards are available for values up to $2,500. To order, please call 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416. They are also available for purchase at the Impulse store, Concierge Desk, and at the Business Services Center. Gift cards can be used in the retail shops, restaurants, Spa, Salon, and towards a guest’s room account. Gift Cards may not be used for gaming. Shipping fees apply for Gift Cards being ordered via mail.

  • Golf:
    Do you sell golf packages or make arrangements for golf?
  • The Mirage Concierge can assist you with tee times and arrangements to play at Shadow Creek or one of the many other fine golf courses in
    Las Vegas. Contact our Concierge at : 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416 for information about Shadow Creek* and Walters Golf courses. Additional information about Golf is located on our website for your convenience. You can also book tee times online for our two golf courses at Primm.
    *Shadow Creek is available Monday - Thursday.

  • Grand Canyon / Hoover Dam Tours:
    How do I make reservations for tours?
  • Our Concierge staff can assist you with booking one of the many available tours in the area. Advance reservations are not required, but the more popular tours do tend to fill up quickly, so it's best to book ahead. For assistance, please call 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416

  • Guestbook:
    What are the benefits of signing the Guestbook on your website?
  • It takes just a moment to sign our Guestbook to become eligible to receive the special promotions and discounts we offer several times throughout the year. The Special Promotions Page on our website has additional discounted rates which are generally posted two to three months in advance.

  • Internet Access:
    Do you offer Internet access, and what is the charge?
  • WiFi: As part of our ongoing improvements to our property, we now offer WiFi service available in all public areas. Guests are able to enjoy complimentary wireless service with the opportunity to purchase upgraded features for increased connectivity.

    High Speed: We now offer High Speed Internet access in our guestrooms and suites. The Mirage High Speed Internet is a combination of Ethernet and Wireless connections. This High Speed access has wireless capabilities and offers download speeds of 1.5 MB. There is no charge associated with the internet access, as it is an inclusion of the resort fee. If a wired connection is preferred, complimentary Ethernet cables are available in the nightstand by the guest bed.

    High Speed Internet access ("broadband" access) is also available in our Business Services Center during normal business hours, in a private Mini Suite, at the cost of $15.00 for 15 minutes, $30.00 for a 1/2 hour and $60.00 for an hour. The countertop computers are $10 for 15 minutes and $10 for every additional 15 minute period there after.     Dial-up: Accessing the Internet from your guestroom is treated the same way as using the telephone in your guestroom. If you have to dial your ISP using a long distance number rather than a toll-free or local number, regular long distance charges will apply.

    • Legal Age:
      How old do I have to be to book a room or gamble in your casino?
    • You must be 21 years of age to gamble or consume alcoholic beverages in Nevada. You must be at least 21 years of age and have a major credit card to reserve a hotel room at The Mirage.

    • Limousine Service:
      Do you provide limousine service for your guests?
    • Our Concierge can assist guests with private limousine reservations through a number of reputable companies. For assistance, please contact our Concierge at 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416 or visit our Transportation page

    • M life:

    • Marker Signing Privileges:
      How can I obtain Marker Signing Privileges at The Mirage?
    • If you would like to apply for Marker Signing Privileges, please contact our Credit Operations Department at 866.990.7111 or 702.693.7277 for more information regarding Casino Credit.

    • Parking:
      Do you offer free parking?
    • In addition to complimentary valet service, we have plenty of secured free parking in our self-park garage at the north entrance of the hotel. We also offer limited oversize parking nearby for large vehicles and recreational vehicles on a first-come first-serve basis. The overhead clearance height for the self-park garage is 6'10 inches.

    • Pets:
      Do you allow pets at The Mirage?
    • Now you can bring their four-legged friends along on your Center-Strip retreat! Select dog-friendly rooms are now available for an additional fee.

    • Resort Fee:
      What is the Resort Fee and what does it include?
    • A $32.48 (tax inclusive) Daily Resort fee is applied to each hotel reservation and includes services and amenities that are sure to enhance your experience at The Mirage. The Daily Resort Fee includes the following hotel services; In-room wireless high-speed Internet access, property-wide wireless Internet access, access to the Fitness Center at The Mirage Spa and unlimited local and toll-free calls. At The Business Services Center; complimentary notary service and up to 10 copies or faxes (black & white only), and complimentary printing of boarding passes. Boarding passes may also be printed at the three Internet kiosks located in The Mirage main lobby and Concierge.

    • Restaurant Reservations:
      How do I make reservations for your restaurants?
    • Reservations for restaurants located at any of the MGM Resorts International properties can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling our Concierge Desk at 888.391.3991 or 702.791.7416 or by calling our Restaurant Reservations line at 866.339.4566.

    • Room Requests:
      If I book in advance, can I be assured a non-smoking room, bed type or floor preference?
    • Room requests are based upon availability at the time of check-in. We do offer the option to guarantee your room request for our Deluxe Rooms for an additional $30 per night. Please note that due to limited availability this guarantee does not apply to our suites. In order to guarantee your request, you must select this option at time of booking by calling Room Reservations at 800.374.9000. This is not valid for reservations booked through third party providers.

    • Spa / Salon:
      If I am not staying at The Mirage, can I use your Spa and Salon?
    • Non-guests have access to these facilities Monday through Sunday with a $50 Day Pass or a booked spa treatment. The Spa is open daily from 5:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. For more information about our Spa or Salon please visit our website or call 800.456.4564 ext. 7146 or 702.791.7146. We do suggest that appointments are made at least one week in advance.

    • Special Events:
      How can I find out about special events at The Mirage?
    • Most special events at The Mirage such as sporting events, slot tournaments and special casino events are held in conjunction with our Casino Marketing Department. Attendance is normally restricted to Players Club members who meet the required play criteria, and tickets are not sold to the general public. If you would like information on how to be included in these special events or to find out more about your personal play criteria, please contact our Casino Marketing Department at 800.777.6533 or 702.791.7111 ext. 7222.

    • Upgrades:
      What is a Tower Deluxe room and how much would it cost to upgrade to one? Can I request a room with a great view of the Strip, Pool, or Volcano?
    • Tower Deluxe rooms, accessed by private elevators to the 24th and 25th floors, feature a larger bathroom, dual sink vanity, soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower. Tower Deluxe rooms are available with a King bed only and are available starting from $30 per night above the prevailing rate for a standard Deluxe Room. Our Standard Deluxe rooms are available with a "premium view" starting from $10 more per night.

    • Vacation Packages:
      Do you offer packages that include airfare?
    • While The Mirage does not offer vacation packages, MGM Resorts International Vacations is a company that specializes in providing complete vacations to each of the MGM Resorts properties. These vacations can include airfare, rental car, limousine transfers, meals, show tickets and honeymoon packages.     • Volcano:
      When does the volcano erupt?
    • Known the world over for its iconic Strip-front feature, The Mirage has joined forces with legendary Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart, Indian tabla sensation Zakir Hussain and Fountains of Bellagio design firm WET to create an all-new audio/visual spectacle. The Mirage Volcano erupts nightly, weather permitting. Click here to view the current hours.

    • Wedding Chapel:
      Do you have a wedding chapel?
    • We do not have a wedding chapel at The Mirage, but there are wedding chapels located at Bellagio and MGM Grand, our sister properties.     • Wheelchairs:
      Do you have wheelchairs available for your guests?
    • Our Bell Desk can assist you with a wheelchair when you arrive. Advance reservations are not required. There is no charge for a standard wheelchair, however you will be required to leave an imprint of your credit card as a security deposit until the wheelchair is returned.     • Win / Loss Tax Statement:
      Where can I get a Win/Loss Tax Statement?
    • Win/Loss Tax Statements are available to M life Members through our Corporate Office. Please call 866.752.7111 and request a “Tax Information Statement Request Form” or submit your “Tax Information Statement Request Form” online at www.mlife.com Here you can view and print your Tax Information Statements by logging into your mlife.com account. The instructions on the request form indicate that you may mail, fax, email, or deliver your completed “Tax Information Statement Request Form” in person to any M life Desk or Casino Cage.
